Acts 4:20 says, "For we cannot keep quiet about what we have seen and heard!
Day after day, He healed the sick, ate with the outcasts, fed the hungry and gave sight to the blind. Forsaking his own needs and desires, Jesus gave his all including his own life to those who had nothing. What fuels this kind of sacrifice on the part of an individual? Jesus saw in God’s eyes His compassion for the lost, and allowed Himself to be filled with that same compassion.
If God is full of compassion for the lost, does it not make sense that He would then fill His followers with that same compassion? Dare to look into the face of God, catch His vision for bringing compassion to a hurting world, and feel the heartbeat of God as you GO. We truly cannot keep quiet about what we have seen and heard!
