Resources for Tampa

This page contains a list of all current opportunities to become involved in the various major events that are taking place in the near future. If an event has been announced, be sure to check back here for more information on that event and the ability to sign-up for that event. Please note that if there is a cost involved in attending any event, that cost must be paid at the USF BCM building itself and there will be no fields for payment information given.

Challenge

Come worship with a live band, hear a relevant message and eat free pizza with 100 of your friends. Challenge is every Thursday night at 8pm at the BCM building on campus. Details in the link above.

Small Groups

Besides having large conferences and events like Ridgecrest, the BCM hosts several small groups throughout the week. For specific details on each small group, visit the sign-up page for more details. The small groups that are currently running are "Financial Peace For the Next Generation" and "A Woman After God's Own Heart". A men's only small group is in the works and if you would like more information, contact Rahul.

Prayer Walks

Every week, the friendly staff of the BCM will be walking around the campus praying for what goes on inside the buildings and for the various staff and students on the campus. Feel free to join them on Wednesdays every week at 11am-12pm to pray for the campus students, staff, and events. Spend time in praying with students that you happen to meet and over the buildings that are nearby.

Ninja Team

The Ninja Team is a group of students who have dedicated some of their time to help the BCM in running the technology that is used in our ministries. Examples of tasks that a Ninja Team member would be doing include running the soundboard or MediaShout during challenge, helping film and edit movies for various BCM activities, and helping to create digital media that the BCM may need. Currently, this website is kept up by the Jonin of the Ninja Team. For more information on the Ninja Team, please contact the Jonin.

Churches

This is a list of local churches that are within a few miles of the BCM that share the same set of Christian values that we hold to be important above all others. While each church may differ from the others, the ways in which they are the same are the ones that count.

Retreats

During the year, the BCM organizes a retreat for the men and a retreat for the women. These retreats are put together by fellow students who have a passion for serving others. There is no concrete information about either of these events because they have yet to be planned. If you would like to be involved in helping to set up these retreats, please contact the Discipleship team.

Job Openings

In the area surrounding USF, there are a large number of churches that need help. All college students want jobs, and these churches need help. You do the math on what this means. Each of these openings is near the USF campus and is ministry related, so be prepared to have an awesome time.
